The joke is…

“What’s your greatest weakness?”

And “Honesty and candour.” are the reply.

Which leads the natural punchline which you can Google.

But the joke is really, that’s not what companies are hiring for. Like it or not, rarely are you hired for honesty and candour.

You’re hired based on your ability to “lie.” And when I say “lie” I mean, you’re not presenting your true self either to the interviewer, the company, or daily at your job. In effect, you’re socially lying, even if you never open your mouth.
