If the work you do is worth doing because it positively impacts the lives of others, because it changes the world for the better, you should be willing to put your name on the work.
Putting your name on your work isn’t to take away from others’ efforts, or to take focus from the world changing work that you are doing.
In fact, if the work is important enough, being willing to “sign your work” could never take away from the work itself.
Being willing to put your name to your work shows the world “This is my best effort and I am willing to stand by what I did.”
And if you legitimately aren’t willing to put your name on your work, perhaps you aren’t contributing your best effort.
And if you’re not contributing your best effort to work that is important, perhaps you have chosen the wrong line of work.
