Nobody owes you a reply. Nobody is obligated to give you their time, however small a commitment it is.

If your email doesn’t get a response in 72 hours, it’s probably deleted.

If your LinkedIn message doesn’t get a response in 72 hours, it’s probably deleted.

If your missed call & voicemail doesn’t get a response in 72 hours, it’s probably deleted.

Rather than allow ourselves to complain that we are being ignored (we are) or that we feel someone is obligated to give us a response (they’re not), a more productive use of our time would be to figure out why we’re being ignored.
