Particular Client Recruiting

Out-of-the-blue contact from a recruiter that said nothing more than: “We have a position we’re hiring for. We’ll need your current resumee (sic) and you must clear any status updates you have made on social media such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as our client is particular.”

/facepalm

Slightly better than the one I received a month ago that demanded I delete my LinkedIn profile and all publicly available resumes as they wanted to represent me exclusively.

Bear in mind, I’m not actually looking to get hired as an employee and as a general rule don’t interact with recruiters.
