Overly Broad NDAs

I personally sign very few NDAs.

When I do it is because I consider the payoff to be worth the risk.

An NDA that tries to cover every generic discussion we might have, attempts to cover anything already public knowledge or might become public knowledge, has no term limits on anything discussed, is non-mutual, has a bunch of non-compete language in it, and is overly broad and over-reaching is not an NDA I want to sign.
