Starting a blog, like starting a book is insanely easy these days.

You don’t even need to purchase a domain name anymore if you just want to get started.

Posting hundreds of blog entries, day after day, for years at a time, takes persistence and that’s what makes it hard.

We don’t start something — “anyone can do that” — because we dismiss the easy part of the activity and conveniently forget about the hard part.

The hard part is what is truly holding us back, but we won’t acknowledge that.
